(b.1961, Saskatoon, SK) Sasha Rogers’ large acrylic canvases tell the story of harmonic skyscapes, where sky and water meet. Powdery and stained surfaces feel Rothko-like, as subtle chromatic shifts create a sense of peace and reverence. Rogers has won numerous awards, and received a Masters degree in painting from U. of Alberta (1987). Her work is held in many public and private collections in North America, Europe and Australia.
