About Stabile 2/10

This powerful outdoor contemporary sculpture was hand-forged by Philippe Pallafray. The Quebec artist favours a minimalist form inspired by the organic shapes found in nature and marries them with industrial materials. This monumental piece was created from aluminum and features a single-patinated beam-like structure that leans at an angle against a rock. Two pieces are balanced on top of it—the fulcrum in the middle is polished aluminum; the larger patinated geometric shape emulates a rock.
Edition two of ten. This work is available by commission with 6-8 weeks required before delivery.

“I am a self-taught artist inspired by the mastery of artisans and the creation of contemporary works. As such, I use industrial steel components that I shape, cut into sheets, fold, weld, and patinate.” Philippe Pallafray
