Biography
(b.1973, Barry’s Bay, ON) Tanya Lyons uses clear glass and brass mesh combined with natural elements to express thoughts, feelings and memories. She captures the flowing motion of glass as it freezes and becomes fragile. Lyons studied at Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning, and completed a one-year graduate program at The Toyama Institute of Glass Art in Japan. Lyons has worked and taught at the Haliburton School of the Arts.
