Don Stinson

Don Stinson has been turning and making wood pieces since the early 1980s. He began making furniture and hand crafting wooden bowls and burls in his studio -- a hundred year old horse stable. Since then, the bowls, carved burls and troughs have become the focus of his work. In these pieces, Stinson merges form and function and highlights the natural beauty of the wood. Stinson's studio that has evolved into a two-generation business, is located in Tamworth, Ontario.
