Like long arms, two vertical copper pipes topped by bronze cast hands emerge from the ground in this outdoor sculpture. The hands clutch a short horizontal pipe engraved with words: I slide inside my skin, inside my skin is a world. This literal and figurative "hand rail" is a poetic contemplation. The viewer is invited to pause and consider the words. This work is one of a set of four.
