This stainless steel outdoor sculpture bowl, powder coated gold on the inside and black outside, is based on Tibetan singing bowls. When the 36 inch high bowl is rung with a wooden mallet or the hand, it produces a clear harmonic tone corresponding to a planetary frequency for Jupiter. Hilton Moore has been a recipient of many Public Art Commissions including Valiants Memorial, Ottawa, Two Freedoms, McMurtry Gardens of Justice Commission, Sir Wilfrid Laurier for Wilfrid Laurier University, Wiidookdaadiwin, Simcoe County, Flowers at Our Feet, Toronto and most recently the Borden Legacy Monument. Her work is in the collection of the Canada Council Art Bank, Agnes Etherington Art Gallery, Sir Wilfred Laurier University, the University of Winnipeg, and many other public and private collections.
