In this spirited sculpture by Paul Duval, a single almost life-sized figure appears to be walking inside a large aluminum ring. Head held high, the figure looks forward, one leg thrust straight out touching the ring; hands--palms out as if attempting to stop the inevitable motion. Is this a clever social comment on the rapid pace of time? “I sculpt to materialize the fantasy world within me.” Paul Duval He is a member of the Canadian Sculptors Society and of the Conseil de la sculpture du Québec.
