Julia Reimer's work selected for AFA collection 5 November 2020
Alberta artist Julia Reimer recently made history when her piece, “Cocoon,” was selected out of hundreds of submissions for the Alberta Foundation for the Arts permanent collection. The AFA collection is considered the premier collection of Alberta art, highlighting work that displays creativity, skill, and innovation.

Congratulations to Nicholas Crombach whose sculpture is currently being shown in Salt Spring Island, B.C. at Mahon Hall as he is a finalist for the Salt Spring National Art Prize. Later this fall he will be showing in Figurativas15 at the Museu Europeu d’Art Modern in Barcelona Spain.

FOUR Artists and FOUR Ways to be a Canadian Artist with Oeno's very own Director, Sandra Goldie. These lectures will be an enriching and fascinating insight into the contemporary Canadian Art scene and the challenges that it faces. Given by Sandra Goldie, the Director of Oeno Gallery, recently voted Ontario's best contemporary art gallery, the lectures run on two Tuesday evenings, October 6th and 13th from 7.30 to 9pm at BAXTER ARTS CENTRE, 3 Stanley St. Bloomfield. $25 for the series.
