Julia Reimer exhibits “Winter’s Breath” at Illuminart, Montreal 5 November 2020
Julia Reimer in collaboration with Tyler Rock have teamed up to create a dazzling glass installation "Winter’s Breath" ("Souffle d’hiver") currently featured at the Illuminart Festival in Montreal, Quebec. Illuminart is an annual exhibition that lights up downtown Montreal. The festival runs from February 21 to March 3, 2019.

Maud Lewis in Japan 5 November 2020
After seeing Maudie, a dramatization of the life of Maud Lewis, Japanese blogger Hiroko Tsuzuku was inspired to learn more about the folk artist. Tsuzuku writes that Lewis lived a “beautiful life” despite her hardships and brought joy to others through her colorful paintings.

Alice Teichert solo show opens at Latcham Gallery 5 November 2020

Shayne Dark elected to the Royal Canadian Academy 5 November 2020
Shayne Dark has been elected Member of the Royal Canadian Academy. Nine artists and designers were elected in 2018 and celebrated at the organization’s 138th Annual General Assembly in May. The event took place at the new Ottawa Art Gallery.

Sun on Stone: Dance in the Garden animates the art and elements of Oeno Gallery’s Sculpture Garden at Huff Estates this Sunday, Aug 19th at 5:30pm. Open to everyone, free admission. Audience is invited to view the performance from the Garden’s central grassy area – the performers work along the pathways and among the artworks outside this area.
