• Contemporary Canadian Art Lecture Series 17 September 2015

    FOUR Artists and FOUR Ways to be a Canadian Artist with Oeno's very own Director, Sandra Goldie. These lectures will be an enriching and fascinating insight into the contemporary Canadian Art scene and the challenges that it faces.   Given by Sandra Goldie, the Director of Oeno Gallery, recently voted Ontario's best contemporary art gallery, the lectures run on two Tuesday evenings, October 6th and 13th from 7.30 to 9pm at BAXTER ARTS CENTRE, 3 Stanley St. Bloomfield. $25 for the series.  Registration is at info@baxterartscentre.org www.baxterartscentre.org

  • Canadian Art Announces Kingston Prize Finalist Daniel Hughes 5 August 2015

    Thirty finalists have been selected for the Kingston Prize, a $20,000 Canada-wide portrait-painting competition. An exhibition of work by the finalists will travel to Firehall Theatre in Gananoque, the Beaverbrook Art Gallery in Fredericton and Galerie d’art Desjardins in Drummondville. The winners will be announced at Beaverbrook Art Gallery on November 14.
