Good Grief Studio is the studio practice of contemporary artist Jahn Page.

Having spent the past decade as a commercial artist in Toronto’s hospitality industry, Page’s commercial portfolio spans sculpture, painting and graphic design with concentrations in traditional oil painting and large-scale relief sculpture. During this period he developed many of the techniques and methods implemented in his studio practice today. During his professional career he has installed major works in Toronto, Calgary, Ottawa, Dubai & Abu Dhabi.

Page began Good Grief Studio in the spring of 2020 attempting to blur the lines between paintings and sculptures - art & design. The studio explores the interaction of color & shape as a subject matter and as a complementary work of art.

Page’s expertise in traditional support fabrication is complemented by his lifelong endeavor as a painter. His preferred medium is oils on stretched canvas.
