About A Group of 3 Rounds with various Black Shapes
The drama of black and white is elevated by this sculptural series of three paintings by Aron Hill. Here the Calgary artist uses clean minimalist form in black on three white circular discs. The discs reveal double-sided images as they rotate on free spinning hanging mechanisms. This installation can be configured in multiple ways. Fun and interactive.
“One of the things I’ve always found challenging in my work is restraint. And minimalism and abstraction is obviously about restraint.” Aron Hill
