Aron Hill’s playful, colourful abstract work is often inspired by forms and colours found in nature. A new series of acrylic on paper confirms the artist’s love for bold organic shapes and a fresh, modern palette. This composition—an architectural element; an arched shape, semi-circles and a leaf-like form is rendered in bright orange, yellow (the sun is the focal point in the centre), lilac and royal blue against a soft gray neutral backdrop.
“The paintings are primarily demonstrative of light and transparency, a stage for the painted object.” Aron Hill
