Calgary’s Aron Hill often uses architectural elements in their colourful, dynamic work. The view through an arched window in fresh orange reveals the bright green and white leaves of trees. Hill’s abstract work is inspired by the clean, bold form and vivid colour palette of modernists like Jack Bush.

They obtained a BFA in Interdisciplinary Studies from the Alberta College of Art and Design and their MFA from Goldsmiths College, University of London in 2006. They have exhibited across Canada and in Dubai. Hill’s work is held in private and corporate collections.
