This contemporary minimalist abstract is a gray ink drawing.

Calgary based artist Aron Hill is known for their modernist form, distinctive colour sense and their thoughtful narratives on canvas. An artist, writer and educator, Hill has exhibited their work internationally. For several years Hill has favoured a graphic pared down representation of the landscape. In the River Crossing series, elegantly curved lines criss-cross the canvas in a fluid, dynamic visual pattern. The watered down gray acrylic ink pops against the flat white of the paper. One in a series. This work on paper is unframed.

Hill obtained a BFA in Interdisciplinary Studies from the Alberta College of Art and Design and an MFA from Goldsmiths College, University of London in 2006.
They have exhibited across Canada and in Dubai. Aron Hill’s work is held in private and corporate collections.
