Black and white—this striking, simple palette creates a bold impression in this new work by Aron Hill. Six leaf shapes in crisp white appear to be floating through the air against a black archway. Hill’s work is often inspired by the dynamic forms found in nature but their expression favours modernism.

They obtained a BFA in Interdisciplinary Studies from the Alberta College of Art and Design and their MFA from Goldsmiths College, University of London in 2006. They have exhibited across Canada and in Dubai. Hill’s work is held in private and corporate collections.
