About Growing Gracefully

This contemporary glass sculpture inspired by nature is designed as a tabletop piece.

The rich textures, organic form and earthy colour palette of Cheryl Wilson Smith’s superb glass work have earned her an international reputation. Wilson Smith’s home and studio sit on the edge of the boreal forest in Northern Ontario, a rugged, ancient landscape that inspires her work. This sculpture’s vertical shape, created from layering delicate pieces of hand-blown glass in a soft gray colour draws its inspiration from daily walks in the bush. One of a series.

“I love the way the lines reach skyward, defying gravity ....” Cheryl Wilson Smith
