About Reading Between The Lines
Wafers of cool white glass frit are layered and stacked in a curated wall relief by Cheryl Wilson Smith. Wilson Smith's work is created by forming minute glass particles, known as frit, into paper thin pieces from which she creates her sculptured objects. The finished work evokes fragility through its material and yet strength in its subject of moving ice.
