About Fall Tapestry
This oil landscape painting of fall leaves is by Ciba Karisik.In stunning detail, the Canadian artist has captured the myriad of shapes and autumn colours one can find on a forest floor. Ciba Karisik’s realistic portrayals of the natural world have garnered him international recognition. The rich, earthy tones of this oil painting in a palette of reds, burnt orange, green, brown and golden yellow are rendered in layers of leaves from a variety of tree species, including oak and pine.

Ciba Karisik completed a bachelor’s degree in 1985 and a master’s in painting at the Sarajevo Academy of Fine Arts. In 1992, Karisik immigrated to Canada, where he continued his career. Since then, he has produced a significant body of work and exhibited regularly in solo and group exhibitions. His paintings are held in international corporate and private collections in Canada, the US, England and Europe. Notable collectors include Brian Mulroney, Alex Trebek, Martin Short, Martha Stewart and U2’s Bono.
