About Hidden Gem
This contemporary abstract landscape painting is inspired by nature. For more than three decades, the ethereal work of Claudia Jean McCabe has delighted collectors both here and abroad. The Canadian artist often explores colour, texture and organic form in her paintings. Bathed in luminous pink and lilac hues, “Hidden Gem” reveals itself gradually through subtle layers of colour, delicate markings and rich, visible texture. Beneath its blush-toned surface, a pathway appears to emerge through the composition, inviting the eye to wander and explore.
“What first appears delicate and understated unfolds into something rich and quietly radiant – a reminder that the most precious treasures are often those discovered slowly and with patience and grace. “Hidden Gem” unfolds gradually, revealing beauty not through grand gestures, but through the quiet reflection of noticing what was there all along.” claudia jean mccabe
