About "Offering"

Harold Feist’s Offering is a striking, lush abstract painting rendered in rich colours. The fan-like form radiates from the base of the canvas in golden hues, burgundy, blues, and purple against a dark canvas. Feist was known for his intuitive use of colour as a visually powerful language.

“(Using colour) I could turn off any logic when I worked, and this leaves the door open for some other faculty to come through.” Harold Feist

Born in Texas, (1945-2021) won a scholarship for the University of Illinois where he switched his studies from architecture to fine art acquiring a masters at the Maryland Institute College of Art.
