Smooth surfaced, engineered white marble flecked almost imperceptibly with grey and black, sparkles gently in the light. The ovular form balances presence and absence of space in an organic and anthropomorphic manner. This sculpture is 48 inches high, weighing 310lbs with a base of the same material at 12 x 12 x 12 inches, weighing 40lbs. The total dimensions are 60 x 12 x 12 inches with a total weight of 350lbs.

The natural environment and especially time spent on, or near, water have had a significant influence on Guy's work.

Jeremy Guy was born in 1966 in a small town in West Yorkshire, England. Natural inspiration has come from the work of British modern sculptors Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth. He has lived in Canada since 2007. Educated in Fine Art and holding an honours degree in Product Design, Jeremy has been a full-time sculptor for approximately 20 years. His works can be found in public spaces and private collections in many countries across three continents.
