About Blaze AP/3

The imagery created by photographer Mark Bartkiw is often profound and powerful. The Toronto photographer manipulates multiple images using different techniques to create surreal landscapes. In this Artist’s proof, a white wooden slat fence divides the composition between a purple sky ablaze with fire and a bright blue sky foreground.

“This remanufacturing of landscape and architecture results in objects and buildings that float in a slightly skewed space. Reassembling reality based on the experience of multiple places and locations creates new spaces that verge on recognizable but defy definition.” Mark Bartkiw

This C-print is sealed between dibond and plexiglass. This image is available in three sizes: 30 x 30 inches, $2,800 (Edition of 8); 36 x 36 inches, $3,200. (Edition of 5 with AP); 42 x 42 inches, $4,000. (Edition of 3 with AP).
