About April Parrot Green

Simply stunning. Milly Ristvedt’s masterful use of colour in this large lyrical abstract painting is on full display. Bright blue offers a brilliant contrast to the gestural brushstrokes of tropical colours--pink, lime green, red, orange, turquoise, and brown. Calligraphic markings in violet, yellow, and white float around the canvas adding visual interest and energy.

“Colour is the philosopher’s stone that for me represents hope in a time of great challenge for us all.” Milly Ristvedt
