About Abundance

Paul Murray creates distinctive porcelain pieces Inspired by forms and patterns found in nature. The Quebec-based ceramicist has found an international audience for her uniquely beautiful work.
Abundance is one of her newest vessels which features her signature undulating form and fine fractures created by the use of fibreglass in the clay. The colour palette is bold—a rich pumpkin orange accented by dark markings.

“In creating my work, I am concerned with how we respond and engage with the cracks that emerge over the course of our lives- within, and with each other. I am exploring a bold response with this vibrant colour palette.” Paula Murray
