About Four Ring Temps Zero Pink

Hot pink pops from the interior of four intersecting polished stainless-steel rings in this contemporary tabletop sculpture by Quebec artist Philippe Pallafray. His elegant abstract work is designed to represent the duality of nature and the industrial world signified by the use of organic shapes hand-forged from metal. ‘Temps Zero’ translates from French as ‘no time’ or timeless suggesting that the intersecting circles are without end.

“My geometrically shaped sculptures, whose angles and planes resemble Japanese origami, oppose the strength of metal with the fragility of paper. “ Philippe Pallafray
