Kelly’s abstract work is influenced by both the Romantics of the 19th century and a lifelong love of the meditative quality of water.

Sharon Kelly was born in Montreal and studied art history at Queen's University in Kingston, ON. Sharon Kelly maintains a full-time studio by the Rideau River in Ottawa. Kelly has been featured in several solo and group exhibitions since 1999. Her works are held in both private and corporate collections.
