About Rocksbreath No 10

This concrete outdoor sculpture in minimalist form was made by Susan Low-Beer. In this contemplative piece, a single figure is shown sitting upright, knees drawn up to its chest, head bent slightly forward. The concrete figure is simple--minimalist in form but the narrative—the human connection to nature is both compelling and profound. This series was originally created as part of a large garden installation in which thirty similar figures—all made from a single mold were grouped together as a powerful statement.

“The movement of the figure has been simplified, emphasizing the essence of gesture.” Susan Low-Beer
