About Rocksbreath No 12
This figurative minimalist outdoor sculpture is made of concrete.A single figure…kneeling, head down facing the earth is one in a series of contemplative sculptures by Susan Low-Beer. The concrete figure is simple--minimalist in form but its narrative—the human connection to nature is both compelling and profound. This series was originally created as part of a large garden installation in which thirty similar figures—all made from a single mold were grouped together as a powerful statement.
“The movement of the figure has been simplified, emphasizing the essence of gesture.” Susan Low-Beer
