Overlapping shapes and patterns in dazzling colours are arranged like a puzzle in this dynamic tondo by Sylvain Louis-Seize. The painting calls on a minimalist aesthetic but pulls on the dynamic language of street art bringing to mind the work of his contemporaries, KAWS or Shepard Fairey.

Montreal-born Sylvain Louis-Seize's career took off in 2005 with a series of sold-out exhibitions in Toronto. In this new body of celebratory paintings, the artist explores bold hard-edged shapes and the illusion of space. The artist's works including large-scale commissions are held in private and corporate collections in the UK, the US, Canada and Europe.
