Andrew Lui & Dale Dunning

Opening reception with the artists Sunday October 23rd from 3-6 PM. "Sparse and strikingly contemporary, Lui's compositions proclaim their own territory while his brushstroke harks at the fluidity of [the] east" notes Montreal art critic, Dorota Kozinska. Dunning's methods define his art. The physicality of modeling the wax, pouring the molten bronze, chasing the metal and applying the patina are all steps determined in advance yet each still leaves the potential for experimentation. They are more than a means to an end.
