A solo exhibit of new works by Otto Donald Rogers is always a highly anticipated event. One of Canada's pre-eminent abstract artists, Rogers' current pieces - in paint, mixed media and an exciting return to steel - achieve a rare beauty. To accompany this exhibit, Oeno has prepared a catalogue with colour reproductions and text specially written by Ken Carpenter, Chair Emeritus of the Visual Arts Department at York University in Toronto and President of the Canadian Section of the International Association of Art Critics. "He is doing the best work of his life, a magnificent summa to 53 years of painting," observes Carpenter. "These most recent works seem not just beautiful and moving, but also wise." We hope you will join us at the Opening Reception on April 26th from 2-6pm with opening remarks beginning at 4:30pm.
