10 September 2022 — 2 October 2022BC artist Pat Service is perhaps best known as one of Canada’s finest landscape artists. OH YES is a survey exhibition of her paintings. Service has had a remarkable career, developing and exploring her skills as an artist for 43 years. Her lyrical compositions are expressive, as she masterfully plays with light and colour. Service has reinvented herself many times over, moving from realism to impressionism, to fauvism (think Matisse towards abstraction and minimalism). Pat Service continues to explore her own ‘voice’ and her own inspired way of interpreting the beauty that surrounds her.
Join us for a vernissage at Oeno Gallery on Huff Estates, Saturday, September 10th from 2pm-4pm with artist remarks by Pat Service taking place at 3pm.
