This is the evocative visual poetry of Sasha Rogers. Oeno Gallery is privileged to invite you to a solo exhibition of this superb Canadian artist. 

Rogers has been a professional painter for over 20 years. She is highly regarded for her ethereal abstract paintings, her masterly use of expressive form, intense colour, light and texture inspired by the beauty of the natural world. 

‘Place’ is an exceptional collection of Rogers' beautiful paintings created by the Toronto-based artist between 2012 and 2024. The featured paintings continue her exploration of ‘physical and visual concepts of space’. They also share an inspired compositional focal point—the horizon. 

We have all gazed into the distance to that place where land or water meets the sky—towards that imaginary line that appears to divide two worlds.
