Alice Teichert solo show opens at Latcham Gallery

New artwork by Alice Teichert will be on exhibit in a fulsome solo exhibition titled text’painting at the Latcham Gallery in Stouffville. The artist will be in attendance at the opening on Thurs. May 17 at 7:00 pm. The exhibition includes Teichert's 16 text and symbol ink drawings on paper titled s’pos)in( .  s'pos)in( was first interpreted in voice and cello in 2008. Teichert studied music, philosophy, visual arts in Belgium and France. Since 1989, she has built an international career with over 30 solo exhibitions in Germany, France, NY, Canada, Switzerland and Australia. Teichert’s paintings are held in many private, corporate and public collections including the MacLaren Art Centre, Global Affairs Canada, the Musée de la Ville de Valence, France.
