Canadian Art Features Maud Lewis
Sheila M. Kinnear writes about her connection to the Nova Scotia folk artist Maud Lewis in Canadian Art. Sheila is the daughter of John H. Kinnear, who supplied Lewis with paints from London, ON in the 1960s.
"My father kept a list of paint colours requested by Lewis—she would ask for tubes of acrylic paint in bright red, daffodil yellow, black, sap green, white, brown and different shades of blue." --Sheila Kinnear
