Ceramic artist Susan Collett featured in the 12th International Ceramics Biennale GCB, in Gyeonggi, Korea
Oeno Gallery would like to congratulate ceramic artist Susan Collett for being one of the selected artists for the 12th International Ceramics Biennale, GCB, in Gyeonggi, Korea.
In total, 57 pieces from 1505 entries were selected for the biennale. Titled "Thicket", Collett's selected work is a multi-fired paper clay and wire sculpture measuring 29cm x 22cm x 49cm that was created in 2024.
The biennale will open on September 5, 2024 and run until February 2, 2025.

Susan Collett is a graduate from the Cleveland Institute of Art, Ohio U.S.A. earning a BFA degree in Printmaking with a Minor in Ceramics. Since 1993 she has run a full-time studio art practice in downtown Toronto.
Her work is included in numerous collections such as the Arizona State University Museums, The Claridge Collection, Montreal, The Burlington Art Gallery, The Tom Thomson Memorial Art Gallery, Canada House, UK, The Queen Elizabeth Hotel, Montreal, Sevres porcelain Museum, Paris, Ernst & Young, Toronto, Trump Tower Miami, The Four Seasons Hotel, Toronto, Musee des Beaux Arts, Montreal and The Canadiana Collection of the Official Residencies of Ottawa, Rideau Hall where the sculpture Filigree was placed in the private office of the Governor General of Canada.
