Canadian artist, Bruno Côté painted the landscapes tirelessly and gained an important place in the artistic history of the Charlevoix region. In the early 1980s, Bruno Côté traveled through many regions of Quebec and the rest of Canada to paint his colorful landscapes. Bruno Cote has captured a classic scene of a small fishing boat moored at the dock in a peaceful bay—the rocky shoreline, the mountains and a dramatic cloudy sky framing the picture. BID NOW

Born into a French Canadian family of farmers, Joe Fafard (1942-2019) came to national attention in the early 1980's after winning a now-famous commission for seven bronze sculptures for the Toronto Dominion Bank in Toronto. Working primarily in bronze, Fafard cast farm animals and human subjects, each uniquely patinated. Cow Pool is inscribed with signature, date and the numbers 9 and 7 on the base. BID NOW

A member of the famed Group of Seven, Edwin Holgate is considered to be a key figure in the development of modern art in Canada. A draftsman, portrait, landscape, and figure painter, he was also a printmaker, book illustrator, a muralist, war artist and educator. ‘Great Bug Pond’ is a classic rendering of the beauty of the Canadian wilderness—the Laurentian Mountains in Quebec. The oil, painted in 1937 is a somewhat impressionistic view of a lake framed by mountains in the distance, a rocky shoreline, and lush forests. BID NOW
