Lockyer Ward Estate Art Auction

 DONT MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE FUN AND SUPPORT YOUR COMMUNITY! On June 13, 70 artworks will be auctioned in a live auction and over 100 will be available through a silent auction. These include works by many local artists and local scenes; works by well known artists such as Hilton Hassel, Tom Mathews, Arthur Shilling, RG Miller, and James Woods are also included.   The works have been donated by the family of Ruby Lockyer and Jack Ward, and the net proceeds will be donated to the Prince Edward County Community Foundation, the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation and the Hospice Prince Edward Foundation. Works may be previewed, and bids placed on the silent auction items June 10-13, upstairs above Books and Company.  The silent auction will close 7:00pm on June 13. Free admission ends at 5:30 on June 13.  The live auction reception begins at 5:30pm, and the auction starts sharp at 7:00. Only 250 tickets to the live auction and reception are available.
