Enigmatic shapes and calligraphic lines dance across a flood of turquoise beneath a sky of burnished orange in this large scale painting by Alice Teichert. The artist works with thin layers of acrylic gel and pigment to produce a shimmering jewel-like surface interspersed with gestural and musical notations which she refers to as visual poetry.
