(b.1959, Paris, FR) WATCH VIDEO Multidisciplinary artist Alice Teichert is known for her use of bold colours and layered transparencies interspersed with script like line drawings. Teichert studied music, philosophy and visual arts in Belgium and France. Since 1989, she has built an international career with over 30 solo exhibitions in Germany, France, NY, Canada, Switzerland and Australia. Teichert’s paintings are held in many private, corporate and public collections including the MacLaren Art Centre, Global Affairs Canada, and the Musée de la Ville de Valence, France.
