About Summer Song #3

Modernist Burton Kramer says his lyrical compositions are "inspired by the toe-tapping, hand-clapping rhythm of music." This delightful piece—geometric shapes—squares, lines, and rectangles are rendered in a vibrant summery colour palette—pink, orange, turquoise, yellow and red. Can you hear the music?

“To fully experience music, one needs a receptive ear. To fully experience these paintings the viewer needs to taste the color, hear and feel the rhythms, the mood, the music.” Burton Kramer
