About Catherine Vamvakas Lay

(b.1946, Crete, Greece) Vamvakas Lay holds a degree in Fine Arts (sculpture), and a diploma in glass. She creates free-formed bowls and vessels from glass – often referencing Greek mythology – and has exhibited in the US, Korea, Japan, Canada and Belgium. Her work is collected in Canada, the US, Amsterdam and Korea.
