About Myriad

The dynamic and eclectic sculptures of Galina Stetco have earned acclaim from critics and collectors across the globe. Meticulously hand-forged and imbued with an almost architectural sensibility, Stetco’s sculptural practice explores the complexities of the human condition. Through Myriad, she reflects on both the luminous and shadowed aspects of existence. Dozens of figures, rendered in a myriad of colours representing the diversity of humanity, stand atop a gleaming stainless-steel pathway crowning an oval form. Facing in different directions, the figures suggest how each individual journey is unique. The reflective pathway symbolizes life’s brightest moments. In contrast, the deeply textured dark bronze sides of the structure evoke the layers of history, memory, and experience that are gradually revealed throughout our lives.

“Every life has value and contributes to a larger story, helping to shape the character of an era.” Galina Stetco
