Inspired by the organic shapes, colours and textures of the natural world, Jana Osterman creates stunning wall reliefs. This bright white plaster piece features an elegant, elongated shape and raised ridges. A wax polish on the plaster gives it a light sheen. One in a series.
“I’m interested in producing quiet, minimal, contemplative work, concerned with how far I can push a form and material to stay inside that realm.” Jana Osterman

For the last 20 years, Osterman has worked as a full-time artist and fabricator in Canada, first in Toronto and now in Prince Edward County, Ontario.
