A seated figure reclines atop a steel cube in this intriguing work by Mississippi sculptor Jason Kimes. Forged from corten steel, the piece has naturally taken on a weathered, rusted patina. Kime’s unique sculptures command attention in a public space and are best viewed from all sides.

He completed a BFA in Sculpture from the University of Southern Mississippi and an MFA in Sculpture from Southern Illinois University in 2005. Since then, he has completed multiple outdoor art commissions and taken part in exhibitions across the US. His work is held in private and corporate collections.
