Jean-Francois and Nadia Maheux-Mercier

Jean-François Maheux and Nadia Mercier share the same passion for sculpture and have been working together since the early 2000s. Under the name Maheux-Mercier, they have participated in several symposiums and competitions and their work can be seen in various solo and collective exhibitions. Their works are also found in various private collections.

​Through their creations, they unite their know-how and their creativity by developing a visual language inspired by the raw material. As sculptors, working with materials is central to their practice. Specialized respectively in the work of stone, metal and glass, their works are imbued with depth and originality. Valuing the gesture and the know-how, the material sometimes precedes the idea or becomes its source of inspiration.
