Metaphors of time, space, earth, and its elements are reflected in the elegant and glowing glass sculptures by Canadian artist John Paul Robinson. This large, stunning glass and metal piece in deep red mimics the mesmerizing flames of a fire. In western culture, fire and water are essential elements of the earth that sustain life.

He was educated at the Georgian College of Arts and Technology and the Ontario College of Art where he later taught for several years. Robinson is a Fellow of The Creative Glass Center of America, recipient of the Joan Chalmers Glass Award and has twice received the Best Glass Award at the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition. His works are in corporate, private and public collections. John Paul Robinson is represented exclusively by Oeno Gallery.
