About Both Sides Now

The mesmerizing patterns clouds form in summer skies is emulated in this lyrical abstract painting by Noreen Taylor. As Taylor says, ‘like the Joni Mitchell song’ she invites the viewer to see both sides of cloud formations…the white and the blue and pink tones of the sky beyond.

“It is like looking at the world through lace-covered glasses, at once seeing both the threads of the lace itself and what lies beyond that lace, the wider world outside its boundary.” Noreen Taylor
