About Late October
In a riot of rich iridescent colour—burnt orange, red, and green--the palette of autumn is expressed in this lyrical abstract painting by Canadian artist Noreen Taylor. Her work explores colour, form, and pattern. As a painter, Taylor is most interested in the emotion that each piece evokes.“Fall colours? Your eye was able to absorb and identify several layers of colour and through the movement of brushstrokes you could replicate not what was being viewed but how it felt when you viewed it.” Noreen Taylor
