This Canadian artist is known best for her bucolic landscapes, but her extensive oeuvre also includes figurative work… both people and animals. Here, the impressive size of a white polar bear caught in mid-stride fills the canvas. A neutral backdrop allows the faithful rendering of the bear to dominate.
